it's been almost TWO WHOLE MONTHS since anybody posted, so

1. Our selfchoreography. needs to be added oil to. yeahhhhh man.

2. Wanna get gifts for the SYFdancers? like a 'all the best, you'll do great and get the effing gold with honours' present. wanna wanna? i think we should. it seems a little little bit like sucking up, but it's so totally not x)

3. the sec 1s are IMPROVING! I-M-P-R-O-V-I-N-G. great eh? they themselves wouldnt have felt it. but like they AREEE improving. so good job to us, and a extra big GOODJOB to Jessica :D

4. dance has been pretty mundane nowadays. so the only thing worth looking forward to now is the probably-will-be-existing HAT FULL OF STARS 2. cant wait.

okay. now for the serious things. those who dont take third lang. just ignore this post.
here's the thing. there's going to be a/an change/addition of CCA days to Monday. right? right.
and our third lang is on like mondays and wednesdays. which means we have a problem.
okay. unless you plan to drop third lang.
so the only way other than the above mentioned is to change your third lang days.
and you can get your forms at http://www.moe.gov.sg/moelc/transfer.htm
and ms yeo will be meeting us at lvl 3 math department on the first day of school after flag raising to sign the forms

FYI it'll be ferrero rocher and a kopiko [or a gummy thing and a kopiko] wrapped in red creppe paper, secured by a gold-coloured ribbon, with a tag on it with says -what else?- NYMD!

the tag will only be put on when school reopens, but we have to get the packaging done by this month.. so i'll bring some materials tomorrow, and we'll then decide who do how many and such stuff. and we still have yet to do calculations of the prices of the things. it'll probably be done by friday and will be put up where else but HERE! :D

hey guys... :D got BIG BAD news. i think some people already know. its that *drumroll...*
WE'RE CANCELLING THE NYMD SEC1'06 XMAS PARTY!
which is supposed to be held on today. ): in case you're grudging, here are the reasons:
1. its wayyy tooo last minute
2. alot of people cannot make it. few people = not a party
3.really alot of people cannot make it.
so right, we might as well plan rearly next year and have a good CNY or halloween or valentine's or whatever party which everyone of the 17 members and ex-members of nymdsec1'06 can make it to. any violent objections? if yes please tag (:

the other important thing... listen up! must listen up ok! seems like all of us are going for the pot luck party at marianne's, with the exception of Adalyn, Mabel Lim, and err i forgot. sorry! So we're in charge of
ICECREAM AND DRINKS AND PARTY CUPS.
cool eh? easy eh?so i'm gonna list what we're going to bring first, then i'll list down who's already bringing what. i haven't asked alot of people, so i'll approach people later, and update you guys again. so do check back!
here goes:

ICECREAM:
the initial plan was to bring like.. 6 tubs of ice cream, but NAHH. cos Beverly suggested mini cornettos, which is a good idea hahahahaa cos mini cornettos are cute and err convenient? so now its:
4 tubs of ice cream.
30++ mini cornettos.
it would be better if the people who are bringing icecream will be arriving by car, cos its more... more what luh you know right. you have common sense. hehehee. so it'll be good if people living near one another can car pool, and also bring more icecream. oh. and if you're bringing icecream then tell me the flavour so to prevent any clashing!

DRINKS:
the ideal quantity is seven 1.5 litre bottles. so here's a suggestive list of different drinks. its modify-able. so tag if there's any objections or whatever thing.
3 coca colas (everyone loves coke right?!)
1 F&N grape
1 rootbeer
1 sarsi
1 ice lemon tea (season's. cos other ice lemon teas kinda suck ]:)
1 whatever thing that anyone wants to bring (optional)

CUPS!:
the harsh task of bringing 50++ plastic drinking cups has been enthusiastically taken up by Rachel (: a round of applause!

ellos people! i know you miss me so much! haha...joking. but really. ever since i quit modern dance, i have been very happy in my cca. FREE OF RAJ. but you all must still jiayou, and persevere, and not give up so easily like me D: anyway, i don't want this to be so long winded. i just wish you the best of luck in md, and you must hang in there not matter how strict, unreasonable, mean, cruel, insensitive and EVIL raj is. but this is not the time for me to be complaining about him. so: JIA YOU PEOPLE!

Here's a picture of the marine creature we are all so familiar with, and at the same time adore so much that we made up a dance in honour of it :
THE SQUID

you know, at first i thought it was an octopus. then suddenly it struck me. octopuses have 8 legs! 8 tentacles! and this one has 6 ?! definitely an absolute squid.
look! it is prancing around, as quoted from mable's post: "17 DANCERS PRANCING AROUND!" hahahaha. sometimes we can also be 17 squids prancing around. but ah. abit disgusting. hahahhaaa.

oh, by the way, do you all remember watching crocodile hunter on kids central? like last year or something. yeah. the crocodile hunter guy, Steve Irwin, DIED today. got stung by a stingRAY. heard that, RAYpoo? sigh. maybe when we were watching the show, we went like oh gosh, so brave. ooh la la. and of course, we thought about what could have happened if he didnt get away from that crocodile fast enough. or didnt let go of the snake in time, and the list goes on. and now, on the 4th september, he got stung by a sting ray. and sigh. still hard to believe. we dont know him well. not our close friend or relative, but yet, he is still an australian wildlife icon who has set a deep impact in our lifes, and in our hearts. and the mark WILL remain there forever. how solemn. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060904/ap_on_en_tv/obit_irwin

finally, after wat seems to be ages, we are back to md again!!! yipee!!!!!
if im not wrong, we stopped having md ever since may, when dey nid time and space to rehearse for ny glitters...

okie, lets recount jus wat happened 2dae:...
1st, we did our own stretchings and i noticed tt though we didnt have md for so long, our flexibility is still tt good :)
so, tt's sth worth our applause!!! *clap-clap*
then, we had our "reunion", meanin we chatted wif our fellow md frenz.

then, at abt 9.50, i think (im not tt good at time, u noe),
sharon led us to do the warm-up.
really fun warm-up...
i lurved the kicks the most cos it feels like u r kickin some1 whom u hate...BUT, tt's NOT to recommend u to go ard kickin ppl's body parts, ok???? i dun wish to hv police by my door 2moro...

at the end of the kicks, mr raj came!!!!!! NO!!!!! YES!!!!! HE'S IN A GOOD MOOD TODAE!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hello!
we have finally done our evaluation. hope everyone had put in their best. no, bestest! haha we should be ok de. Sharon is now trying to.. adjust the scores.. (i didnt even noe we HAVE scores!) but now its over le. we have done wad we should have done =). which is to try our bestest haha. now i m being lame. -.-"getting back on track. ok. we all had fun while learning and practicing the dance. we rushed down/charged/rampaged to the dance studio every single lunch for the past few weeks. looking back is kinda nice. ok. this best things in life are free evaluation probably got us closer together, bonding us for the rest of our sec school life/lifetime. notice that we are constantly helping one another out? aww.. thats so sweet!
the feedback/opinions from the seniors arent good. which means we arent good enough. tts a very nasty way of putting it. anyway. for me, i think tt until now i havent really understood wad md is about. i concentrated more on the steps. like before mr group de turn i was like trying to recap the steps. and just before thy started the music i was like. *concentrate. dont forget the steps.* i forgot to tell myself *do it all out. dance with all ur might and main. haha. so even during the dance the smile i had was plasticky. :] andi sorta felt empty when i did the dance. ok maybe cos the dance floor was kinda empty. but i just sorta screwed up!
on the other hand. i guess Liqi sorta know the meaning of nymd. giving ur all and let ur personality shine. and she shined. congrats liqi. haha sharon was like raj haha.
o ya. and i think i will be nice if sec1 nymd-ers, post their feelings or wadever about the evaluation thingy and how they felt though out the process .. ya tt sorta thing. ya it sounds abit lame but its good to share rite! if u can then just post! take the initiative to share! be enthu! =) but i know u ppl are already very enthu.. . hahas! if u are wondering "how can i post when i dont have the pass??!!" then here is ur answer. sms sasa or me(96230935) for the user and pass.
